We’re days away from welcoming 2020 and as a small business, we always like to reflect on the successes for the year.
2019 packed by far the biggest punch for Advennture Design since we started trading in 2016 and we have you – our loyal customers – to thank for that. The faith you put into our expertise to help grow your business has got us to where we are today, and we only hope that we’ve had equally as positive an impact on your success!
So, what did 2019 look like for us?
70+ invoices (compared to less than 30 for 2018!)
Over 20 new clients (almost 2 per month!)
Launched our promotional video (if you haven’t seen it yet catch it here)
Referral scheme launched (remember, if you refer us to another business who books a job with us you’ll get £25 off your next invoice!)
2 Case studies secured (and we only got around to it in Q4!)
5 new supplier links; web developer, video guys, printing, PR and copywriter
Doubled our social following – hi to all the new followers!
2 Guest blogs (so far – watch this space for 2020)
1 Christmas video
10 new customer testimonials
And a partridge in a pear tree! Phew. Safe to say it’s been a busy one.
But what a great reminder that with hard work comes success. You get out what you put in when it comes to business – especially small businesses.
With a little planning, you really can achieve all those things that’ve been on the back burner for as long as you can remember.
So for 2020, here’s what our plans look like:
1. Retainers Come First
Over the last 3 years, we’ve built up a solid bank of regular clients that we love working with. And they’re still coming in thick and fast! But it’s safe to say that our passion lies with getting to the nitty-gritty of business’ branding and helping to grow and develop this on an ongoing basis.
In 2020 we will be focusing a large proportion of our efforts on our top clients. The ones that keep coming back to us time and time again and believe in what we offer. So, if you want to continue working with us on an ongoing basis next year - retain us! We’d love to dedicate an agreed proportion of time to you each month to help you reach those all-important goals for the year.
The benefits?
Those hours are dedicated to you each month – so you can always be sure we’ve got the time!
Makes for straight-forward budgeting and management of that precious Marketing budget
Consistent branding – using the same company day-in and day-out means your branding will remain consistent and always within the guidelines
The more we work with you, the more we get to know you. Meaning we’ll soon start coming up with bright ideas you’d never have even thought of!
We’ll build you road-map together to ensure the goals are met.
2. The One-Stop Blog Shop
Our blog has really taken off this year, so we’ll be committing to it further next year. Expect to see them every month, with some guest ones in for that extra special content.
We’re currently working on guest blogs with; copywriters, marketing coaches and start-ups. Watch this space as they launch throughout 2020.
3. Brew and a Brainstorm
One thing we’ve always struggled with is the time to MEET our clients. Being based remotely, online has always been the way. But if there’s one thing we’ve learnt from 2019 its how important these face-to-face meets are for some clients.
In 2020, we’re committing two days a month to our new ‘Brew and a Brainstorm’ AKA #BBMeetings.
1 day for an existing client meeting to talk about how we can move your business forward and reignite Marketing efforts
And 1 day to meet new prospects and discuss where Advennture Design fit in
Just drop us an email or call us to book your #BBMeeting.
4. The Golden Network
One thing that came new to Advennture Design this year was the opportunity to network. We admit that in the digital age we operate in we weren’t too sure how beneficial this would be. But alas, it went down a storm! We generated several new clients and even more supplier links from these events, so it’s safe to say they’re on the agenda for 2020.
If you know a great Networking event local to Northamptonshire, or you’d like to meet us at one, just get in touch!
5. Sharing is Caring
We ran a couple of competitions this year which really helped our exposure. And hey, who doesn’t love to win something? The great thing with our competitions is being a small business, the number of entries is drastically reduced from someone like Range Rover or TGI Fridays – so you could ACTUALLY win!
Keep an eye on our social feeds and your email inboxes for competitions throughout the year.
Once again, we want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our clients for the best year yet and wish you a very Merry Christmas 🎄
